FAA to DGCA
License Conversion.

Trained in the USA. Ready to Fly in India.

We Handle the Conversion.

What Is Module IV?

If you completed your flight training in the United States under the FAA and want to fly commercially in India, Module IV is the bridge.

The DGCA does not automatically recognise FAA licenses. A formal conversion process is required — written examinations, a skills test, and documentation. OCFC GAA handles every step.

The Conversion Process

Step 1 | Document Verification (OCFC, USA)

Before you leave the United States, our team reviews your FAA certificates, logbooks, flight hours, and medical records against DGCA requirements. Flawless paperwork eliminates costly delays on arrival.

Step 2 | DGCA Written Examinations

Depending on your existing FAA certifications, you may be required to clear DGCA written exams in Navigation, Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General, Technical Specific, and/or RTR.

Step 3 | Skills Test (OCFC affiliated FTOs, India)

DGCA conducts a skills assessment in an Indian-registered aircraft — including the General Flying Test (GFT), day/night navigation validation, Instrument Rating Skill Test, and Multi-Engine Rating Validation.

Step 4 | License Issuance

Upon successful completion, DGCA issues your equivalent Indian license: PPL, CPL, or ATPL.

Why OCFC

OCFC GAA’s faculty includes instructors deeply familiar with both FAA and DGCA frameworks. Our conversion candidates don’t re-learn everything from scratch. They learn what’s different — specifically, efficiently, and with full exam support.
